Every day, during the summer recreation season, lifeguards conduct continuous monitoring of beach visitors in the area of responsibility, provide pre-medical assistance to the injured people, call an ambulance team if necessary, take measures to prevent citizens from attempting to swim beyond the swimming area of the water body, children staying on the beach without adult supervision, citizens bathing in a state of alcohol intoxication. They inform people (by radio or megaphone) about the rules of conduct on the water to prevent accidents on the water, if a swimmer is found exhausted or drowning, and help exhausted or drowning swimmers immediately.
